Selkirk A 54, Edinburgh Accies A 13

SELKIRK A rolled into top gear with this comprehensive win after Rory Banks scored in the seventh minute and added the conversion. Five minutes later, Euan McDougall was credited with a push-over try, which laid the foundations for the forwards-dominated win. Accies scored a simple try after a pick from the scrum near the home line and added two penalties. A further try by Ross Nixon, converted by Banks, just before half-time made it 19-13 at the break.
In the second half, Selkirk started where they finished off the first and scored five unanswered tries through Mike Davis, McDougall, Stuart Forrest, Darren Scott and Steven Renwick, four of which were converted by Banks.
