Squeezed out

SELKIRK 2nds got their East League campaign off to a bad start when they lost away to Kelso on Saturday. Selkirk scored in the first three minutes with a Rory Banks drop goal before Kelso replied with a drop goal.
Banks added a second penalty and then Kelso dropped another goal. Selkirk scored an unconverted try in the corner to give them a 11-6 lead, but Kelso hit back with a try under the posts.
It was converted and Kelso held on to win.
