Royal High Cougars 0, Selkirk "A"38

All the best Cougars must have been at the Ladies Lunch as 2nds take 38 points off the Edinburgh side.

SELKIRK scored early on and never looked back. Forwards and backs kept the scoreboard moving along and by half-time they had the bonus points in the bag. The try scorers were the Hendrie brothers, Jason (1) and Scott (2). Fraser Jack and Martin Murray scored the other two, three of which were converted by Darren Scott to give Selkirk a 31-0 half-time lead.
The second half was more of a concern for the Selkirk selectors, because they could only score one more try through their front-row forward Colin Wood, converted by Scott Hendrie.
Best for Selkirk were some of the new players who stood up to mark a produced a great result and keeps Selkirk on top of their league table.
Connor Ward, Robert McGregor and the more experienced players, Scott Hendrie and Michael Rutherford, came back from long lay-offs due the injuries.
Best of all was Selkirk's hunger in defence, making tackle after tackle to ensure that their line was not crossed.
