SELKIRK A ARE NOT ENOUGH TO DEFEAT A TOUGH CURRIE TEAM

SELKIRK A 10, CURRIE 2NDS 36

IT was always going to be a tough game against Currie 2nds for the Selkirk A XV, and this proved true as they fell victim to a 36-10 defeat away at Mallerny Park.

Selkirk claimed two tries for their side through young winger Frazer Anderson and player-coach Neil Darling, but these werent enough as Currie stormed ahead with five tries, to gift the home side a convincing victory.

The A XV will now be hoping to get back to winning ways at their next game on Saturday against Stewarts/Melville FP, at Philiphaugh.
