Selkirk had a whirlwind start scoring early tries through Stevie Hamilton and Clinton Wagman with Rory Banks converting one. The game was being played at a high pace and intensity by both sides. It was no surprise when GHA hit back with two tries in the space of 10 minutes after some good play by the whole team.Murray and Sutherland getting the touch downs one converted by Goudie.
On the half hour mark a ruck infringement allowed Rory Banks to kick an excellent penalty goal against a gale force wind after a ruck infringement.
However on the half time whistle GHA scored another converted try through their forward pack driving from a lineout. Converted by Goudie

The second half the home team were on the rack with GHA throwing everything into attack, but the home side weathered the storm and took play to the other end of the park , and were rewarded by two tries in the space of two minutes.
Fiirstly James Bett scored a great support try after a good break in the middle of the park. The try being converted by Rory Banks.
Another break in midfield allowed Sean Nixon to take the scoring pass to score under the posts again converted by Banks. With the home team in front and the game nearing the end GHA showed they were far from finished scoring again through their pack driving at the home line Sutherland getting the touch down converted by Goudie.
