Selkirk travelled to Hamilton on Saturday expecting a hard game and were not disappointed with Hamilton attacking their line from all over the field
After only 4 minutes Selkirk got a double blow , first losing winger Pavlovski with. A knee injury and Hamilton scoring their first try of the afternoon by Skilling converted by McLeish
Selkirk hooker Bett scored a converted try after some good interplay from Selkirk converted by Banks levelling the scores
McLeish put the home side in front with a penalty kick,
Full back Aitken scored a try in the corner to finish off the first half
Half time score Hamilton 15 Selkirk 7.
Two minutes into the second half Hamilton extended their lead with an unconverted try from centre Inglis, shortly after with McLeish converted yet another penalty kick awarded to the home side.
Selkirk scored the last points of the game when Welsh crossed the home line for a converted try . Selkirk had a chance to pick up a losing bonus point, but opted to run the ball and lost the ball in a maul situation.
