David Anderson – Newly elected president for Selkirk RFC. David commented –
“It is a great honour to be appointed as President of Selkirk Rugby Football Club. I only had to look at the Roll of Honour of Past Presidents in the George Donnie bar to realise what illustrious company I was joining. The rugby club has been a huge part of my life over the last 40 years since I first turned up at Philiphaugh as a young 18 year old, fresh from a season at the Youth Club. The people and personalities that I have met through rugby since then, have had a profound influence on my life, and it is a privilege to spend the next two years repaying that experience by serving the club as President.”
