Selkirk Rugby Football Club has welcomed Thomas Ramage as its newly elected president, taking over the role from outgoing president Graham Marshall.
The official handover took place at Philiphaugh on Saturday 15th August, where Graham congratulated Thomas and wished him every success as he begins his time in office.
During his tenure, Graham served the club with great commitment and enthusiasm. Selkirk RFC would like to thank him for the time, energy and dedication he has given to the role, as well as his continued support of the club both on and off the field.
Thomas now takes on the presidency as Selkirk RFC looks ahead to the new season and the next chapter in the club’s proud history. A familiar face at Philiphaugh, he brings a strong connection to the club having been team manager for over 15 years and an understanding of the important role it plays within the local community.
Speaking about the handover, the club extended its sincere thanks to Graham for his service while offering its full support and best wishes to Thomas in his new position.
